Hi I am Michael Turtenwald – professional handyman and owner of Mike’s Handyworks LLC. Helping home owners who don’t have the time, knowledge, or tools to get things done around the house is what I do!

I provide a number of services to help you cross things off your to do list, maintain, update, or repair your home.

My passion is working with my hands, helping others solve problems, and bringing their ideas to life within their home. I have worked within many different trades including plumbing, flooring, remodeling, and carpentry.

My Story

Growing up I was always surrounded by family that built and remodeled their own homes and did much of the work themselves.  It seemed crazy to me that they had the time and knowledge to do this outside of their regular work lives. From there a seed was planted.

After I graduated from Watertown High School, I went on to complete my business degree at UW-Whitewater but knew I didn’t want to sit behind a desk all day. I kept investing my time in the construction fields, reinforcing my desire to work with my brain and my hands!

In much of my past work within the trades whether it be remodeling, plumbing, flooring, carpentry or even pier installation I have found that helping others achieve what they want on their own property brings me great satisfaction.

Now I am looking to share my skills and knowledge with you to help you keep your home safe, updated, or more comfortable.
